Elastomeric membrane

There are several elastomeric roofing systems for different types of use. Elastomeric roofs are often used on buildings with flat or low-slope roofs, such as multi-unit buildings, condominiums, and institutional buildings. Specifically, the elastomeric membrane is a two-layer system consisting of a base membrane and a finish membrane with colored granules on the surface. It is also used in inverted roofing systems. * Request your membrane sample from your representative.

Components

  • Modified polymer bituminous waterproofing system
  • Available in various colors : black, white, blue, green, red, gray

Benefits

  • Superior sealing properties and resistance
  • Elastic and flexible
  • Highly adherent
  • Protects the roof from premature degradation caused by weather conditions.

Longevity

  • 25 years, more or less, depending on maintenance, weather, and activity on the roof.

Maintenance

  • Little maintenance is required, but a visual inspection every spring and fall is recommended.

Multi-Ply Asphalt & Gravel

The multi-ply roofing systems are comprised of liquid asphalt and gravel. This is an economical and affordable solution, widely used in flat or low-slope roofs.

* Ask your Sales Rep for a sample.

Components

  • Multi-ply waterproofing system made of liquid asphalt and gravel
  • Available in gray and black

Benefits

  • Superior resistance to asphalt softening and degradation caused by sunlight
  • Top membrane is protected by gravel
  • UV-resistant

Longevity

  • 20 years, more or less, depending on maintenance, weather, and activity on the roof.

Maintenance

  • Requires strict drains maintenance and debris removal, as well as continuous adding of gravel to protect the membrane. This should be done by a specialist.

Monolithic Membrane

Monolithic membrane solutions are often preferred for their waterproofing capacities in applications involving concrete, like parking lots, terraces, and roofs or inverted roofs.

* Ask your Sales Rep for a sample.

Components

  • Monolithic rubberized asphalt membrane waterproofing system
  • Available in black

Benefits

  • Waterproof
  • Flexible
  • Seamless

Longevity

  • 25 years, more or less, depending on maintenance, weather, and activity on the roof.

Maintenance

  • Requires mainly drains maintenance. This should be done by a specialist.

EPDM Membrane

EPDM roofs are environmentally-friendly solutions suitable for large-scale, flat roofing.

* Ask your Sales Rep for a sample.

Components

  • Ethylene/propylene/diene/monomer single-ply waterproofing system
  • Available in black or white

Benefits

  • Flexible
  • Recylable
  • Environmentally-friendly

Longevity

  • 25 years, more or less, depending on maintenance, weather, and activity on the roof.

Maintenance

  • Requires little maintenance, but a visual inspection every spring and fall is recommended.

TPO membrane

TPO roofs are often used for large surface flat roofs.

* Request your membrane sample from your representative.

Components

  • Thermoplastic polyofelin single-ply waterproofing system
  • Available in various colors such as gray, white and beige

Benefits

  • Helps reduce heat islands
  • Energy-efficient
  • Recylable

Longevity

  • 20 years, more or less, depending on maintenance, weather, and activity on the roof.

Maintenance

  • Requires little maintenance, but a visual inspection every spring and fall is recommended. When needed, it is recommended to clean with a manufacturer-approved product to improve reflectivity.

PVC Membrane

PVC roofs are a trilaminate membrane made of two thick PVC layers, internally reinforced with a polyester structure. They are often used in commercial and industrial roofing applications. It is commonly used on commercial and industrial roofs.

* Request your membrane sample from your representative.

Components

  • Trilaminate polyvinyl-chloride polymer waterproofing system
  • Available in various colors such as white, gray and beige

Benefits

  • Environmentally-friendly
  • Recylable
  • Resistant to chemicals

Longevity

  • 25 years, more or less, depending on maintenance, weather, and activity on the roof.

Maintenance

  • Requires proper annual maintenance, mainly for drains and debris. When needed, it is recommended to clean with a manufacturer-approved product to improve reflectivity.
